High Copper Alloys CuCr1Zr (CW106C)
CuCr1Zr is the copper alloy for components that carry current and bear mechanical load at the same time. At medium strength the material reaches a very high electrical conductivity of around 79 percent IACS, that is about 46 MS/m, and a high softening temperature with correspondingly long service life. Under EN it is designated CW106C, the earlier material number is 2.1293.
