CuSn7Zn3Ni2PS-C is the lead-free alternative to the classic red bronze RG7. The material achieves the same sliding and emergency running properties as CC493K but contains no lead, making it the right choice where lead must be excluded, for example in drinking water or in lead-free designs. Under EN it is designated CC471K. It offers medium hardness, good corrosion resistance including in seawater, and very good machinability.

Acc. to DIN EN 1982, 8.2.2 the above min. values for continuous cast (GC) are only valid for sizes up to 300 mm. For larger sizes these values are only a guideline.
