Round barsCast Iron EN-GJL-250C (5.1203)
EN-GJL-250C is cast iron with lamellar graphite produced by electric continuous casting. This manufacturing process creates a very dense, fine grained, pearlitic ferritic structure with an even, fine lamellar graphite distribution. The result is a material with good sliding properties and high resistance to frictional wear that is at the same time absolutely oil tight and pressure tight, free from cavities and suitable for polishing.
Under DIN EN 16482 the material is designated EN-GJL-250C, with material number 5.1203. It is still known under the earlier designation GG-25 and the earlier number 0.6025.
