Aluminiumbronze CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C (CC333G)

The cast material CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C – formerly known as CuAl10Ni – is distinguished by high strength values, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance, even in warm seawater. 

The excellent corrosion resistance is attributable to the resistance of an oxide protective film that forms rapidly on the material surface and heals quickly if damaged. 

We offer an especially extensive range of continuous-cast (GC) tubes and round bars in this material for immediate delivery from stock. In addition, larger bushings and rings made from centrifugal casting (GZ) are available quickly and at attractive prices. 

Other shapes (plates, flat, square, and hexagonal bars) are available in the corresponding wrought material CuAl10Ni5Fe4, CW307G.

Typical applications

CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C exhibits very good pressure tightness, high strength values – even at elevated temperatures – and good erosion and cavitation resistance. It offers high abrasion resistance as well as good fatigue behavior under cyclic loading. It is frequently used under high static and dynamic loads. For sliding applications, good lubrication is required. CuAl10Fe5Ni5-C is a preferred structural material with excellent weldability.
